Staff Sergeant Baltej Dhillon – First RCMP To Wear A Turban
As the first Sikh RCMP permitted to wear a turban, Staff Sergeant Baltej Dhillon’s fight for equality led him all the way to the House of Commons.
His perseverance helped change policy and opened the doors for many new officers behind him.
