Nav Announced to Perform at Coachella
Nav was named to perform at Coachella this year. He was recently signed to The Weeknd’s XO label and this will mark his first time performing.
Coachella is one of the largest music festivals globally. It consistently features the biggest stars as well as emerging artists. This year Radiohead, Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar are listed as the headliners. This makes the scheduled performance by Nav even more impressive.
Who is Nav?
Nav is a Canadian artist, songwriter and producer. In 2016 he was signed by The Weeknd to his XO music label. He was recently featured in Travis Scott’s song ‘Beibs in the trap’. He also announced that he’s working on a collaboration album with one of the biggest producers in hip-hop Metroboomin’.
The Weeknd’s first performance as a mainstream artist was at Coachella in 2012. Since then we’ve seen his career completely take off as he transformed into a superstar. It seems that Nav is following in his footsteps with Coachella being his first performance. With everything he’s been doing so far, it’s safe to assume that he’s definitely going in the right direction.
