A Hollywood documentary about the Birmingham schoolgirl Malala Yousafzai – who was shot in the head by the Taliban – is released in cinemas this week. The film “He Named Me Malala” gives an intimate insight into Malala’s family life in Birmingham, as well as her worldwide campaign for education. It’s been made by an Oscar winning director Davis Guggenheim and Malala herself.
